We had our Easter dinner together on Saturday night as Uncle Devin and the crew were heading out on Sunday. Grandma cooked a wonderful dinner with ham and veggies and scalloped potatoes. But if you ask the kids, the gummy bear cake was by far the highlight. Elijah and Isaac were both very excited about it, as you can tell from the pictures.
On Easter Sunday there was lots of excitement as well. The kids had a great time on their Easter treasure hunt that Devin and Caroline planned for them. They followed the clues all over the house - in the fridge, in the bathtub, out in the picnic table - and eventually found their gifts in the garage. As you can see, they had great fun opening everything. 
Afterwards we all dressed in our Sunday best and went to church together. Devin and crew left right after that. We stayed an extra day, rested up, and went home on Monday. We all had a really great time!
